3-Day Sample Itinerary

DAY ONE

Mid-morning: Marvel at the beauty and grace of the Tempel Lipizzan stallions as they perform the art of classical dressage in the tradition of Vienna's famed Spanish riding school.

Afternoon: Refresh yourself spiritually at Marytown, the national shrine of St. Maximillian Kolbe and one of the most beautiful religious sites in America.  Immerse yourself in luxury while touring the Cuneo Museum and Gardens with its opulent Venetian-style architecture and 75 acres of formal gardens.

Evening: Spend an enchanted evening under the stars listening to Chicago's "sounds of summer" at Ravinia Festival.  Picnic in style on the lawn at the oldest outdoor music festival in North America.

DAY THREE

Morning: Begin your day by treating your senses to the world famous Chicago Botanic Garden as you experience 26 gardens in one, including a romantic English Walled Garden and wild Midwestern Prairie.

Afternoon: See a variety of unique designer concepts at Northbrook Court, anchored by Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor, and Marshall Field's.  Visit Westfield Hawthorn, offering Carson Pirie Scott, JC Penney, Sears, 140 specialty stores, and two restaurants.  Explore Gurnee Mills, where you'll find an incredible 220 stores including outlet, discount, and specialty retailers.

Evening: Catch a world or U.S. premiere musical production at the renowned Marriott Theatre.  Recent musicals staged at this intimate, in-the-round theatre include "Beauty and the Beast," "Miss Saigon," "Brigadoon," and "Footloose."
