D.W. Anderson’s Eatery and Ice Cream Parlor

Dave Anderson is all about fun.  We came to appreciate his love for food with Rainforest Café and Famous Dave’s BBQ.  Well he’s outdone himself with the opening of Keylime Cove Waterpark Resort in Gurnee this past February.  No one is too old or too young to appreciate this fabulous place. 

Whether you jet down a colored waterslide, beach yourself on a lounge chair or find yourself again in the spa – you have to experience his old-fashioned restaurant – D.W. Anderson’s Eatery and Ice Cream Parlor. 

Dave’s a softy for the old days.  You remember – onion rings, chili mac, burgers, malts and banana splits were a way to celebrate the football game win, your first kiss or the latest gossip.  If the sight of a soda jerk and a juke box won’t take you back, the smells and sounds will.  Your group will enjoy this environment whether it is bringing back memories or creating a new one just like a Happy Days episode. 

This full service restaurant can take care of all of your needs from breakfast until dinner.  Won’t they swoon over the bananas foster pancakes?  They’ll say you’re the greatest when the Football Field pizza is delivered to their table.  Or how about a ice cream stop for creations such as Monster Chocolate Chip Extravaganza and The Best Bread Pudding Ever? 

Time and time again, as your motorcoach drives down I-94, you will find yourself taking the Grand Avenue east exit straight to Keylime Cove.  It’s definitely a well-appreciated stop and an even better overnight experience for the young and the young-at-heart.
