Ravinia Festival announces their 2011 season

Since 1904, Ravinia Festival Association has been Chicago's "sound of summer," a place where you can meet up with your friends, have a wonderful time and hear some of the greatest music in the world. We've got stars on the stage and stars in the sky, and it's all within your reach.

The 2011 season is the best yet!  The Chicago Symphony Orchestra plays at Ravinia during the summer.  However, there will be incredible concerts by Robert Plant, k.d. lang, Garrison Keillor, Maroon 5, Daryl Hall & John Oates, The Judds, Peter Frampton, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Lang Lang, Ramsey Lewis, The BoDeans, Steely Dan, Lyle Lovett, Mandy Patinkin, Chicago, Lifehouse and so much more.  Needless to say, if you haven’t been (or even if you have) this is the year not to miss Ravinia!
