The accommodations were very comfortable. I would need the rest for the day ahead.
With the sun shining, I decided to sip a root beer poolside.
Remember, safety first!
I warmed up with the recreational amenities before reaching my next stop:
What a welcome!
A short jog on the treadmill was a great way to warm up.
I think I need to work on my strength training.
I needed to brush up on my basketball skills. Luckily, the facility had plenty of room to do just that.
Let's say I got a little too competitive. Does anyone want to get me down from here?
Next, I put my climbing boots on to scale the Field House's rock-climbing wall.
I really enjoyed my time at the Field House - the staff was spectacular!
Who wants to trade?
I saw a few well-known faces while I was in the store.
I always dreamed of seeing my name on the marquee!
How cool is that!
I wish I could put this in my living room.
Many thanks to the Genesee staff for making this possible!
After another full day in Lake County, I was ready to relax:
The people here really do go the extra mile - great service all around.
Decision time: deciding which drink to order at the Bistro.
All of the choices sounded very refreshing after my action-packed day.
Last but certainly not least, I was honored to sit on the shoulder of one of Naval Station Great Lakes' newest graduates.
It was yet another great day - I look forward to my next Lake County adventure! Remember to follow Visit Lake County on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to see previews of where I’m going.
