Well if you are looking to have a date night with your significant other, this is the last weekend for the play, Palmer Park at the Clockwise Theatre. The Clockwise Theatre is located in Downtown Waukegan just north of the Genesee Theatre. If you have not been there, is it a nice theatre to see a play. Palmer Park, is a play based on a 1967 Detroit family who moves into the Palmer Park neighborhood of highly educated professionals, all committed to creating a truly integrated community. Everyone is kind. Everyone is smart. Everyone is friends. What could go wrong? Performances are Friday and Saturday night at 8pm and Sunday afternoon at 3pm.
But, you have family in town and are looking for something for all the kids to do? Lambs Farm is open Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 5pm. The kids will love meeting Mrs. Wiggles, the 450-pound pig with an affinity for Bavarian Crème donuts and Oreo Cookies®. They can then climb into the petting zoo with goats, sheep and lambs, check out the llamas, alpacas, cows, horses, ducks and more. Enjoy a ride on the old-fashion carousel or the train. You can even have a family challenge in a round of mini golf. Day passes for all activities available for $8 for adults and $12 for children 2-12.
No matter what you do this weekend, I hope you enjoy the ride to fantastic family activities!
