Activities for the whole family include pony rides, kiddie rides and face painting for bushels of fun for everyone. Enjoy apple inspired cuisine and do NOT miss the apple cider donuts!
Vernon Hills 9th annual Oktoberfest Celebration, Saturday, Sept. 28, 3 – 10 p.m. Celebrate fall at this family friendly event, including free pumpkin painting, petting zoo, raffles, giant inflatables and much more. Try the brats, burgers, hot dogs, taffy apples and then hop on a free hay ride.
Libertyville’s Oktoberfest Street Dance, Saturday, Sept. 28, 4 – 11 p.m, is serving up some delicious brews this weekend! Enjoy live music from Steve’s Bavarian Oompah Band at this night and be sure to wear your lederhosen! Award winning German-style craft beers and ales and delectable German food will be on hand from Mickey Finn’s Brewery. The big top will be rockin’ all night and don’t miss the yodeling contest.
