- The play ‘Courting Vampires’ is running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Clockwise Theatre in Waukegan through February 12. The Play goes from courtyard to graveyard, and includes a tangle of love, lust, and loyalty between two sisters fighting a mysterious opponent.
The Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire has brought the smash hit musical, ‘Legally Blonde’ to town. The play is based off the movie, where a sorority queen from California heads off to Harvard Law School. This all-singing, all-dancing feel good musical will have you cheering all weekend.
- Lake Villa’s Annual Winter Ribfest is this Saturday from Noon – 4pm at Caboose Park. There will be a build your own sled competition, sledding, snow sculpturing competition, daddy dog sled races, games, crafts and much more.
- Join the Illinois Beach Resort for a “Who dunnit dinner” full of murder, mystery & mayhem. Dinner/show attendees participate in the program and you could possibly be the one “Who did it”. Plus, you get to enjoy a great dinner overlooking the beautiful Lake Michigan.
- The Lake County Forest Preserves is hosting an Owl Prowl hike on Sunday from 4:30pm – 6pm at the Middlefork Savanna in Lake Forest for adults ages 18 and older. Attendees will learn about the special adaptations owls have to be silent predators and take a hike to lure owls out using recorded calls.
