Valentina Peleggi "conducts with marvellous flair and precision," says the Guardian of the Taki Alsop Fellowship alum. She returns to Ravinia and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra following last summer's "Across the Line of Dreams," which she led beside Marin Alsop to pay tribute to Harriet Tubman and Rani Lakshmibai.

This concert sees performances of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with Jorge Federico Osorio as soloist, Tchaikovsky's Francesca da Rimini, and Respighi's Pines of Rome.
